    pd|hub will be featured on a panel on national doctoral education initiatives as a special event during the AERA Graduate and Postdoctoral Education Special Interest Group on Saturday, April 18. The panel features the Association of American Universities (AAU), Council of Graduate Schools (CGS), Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER), American Historical Association (AHA), and pd|hub.

    pd|hub at the NPA Meeting

    pd|hub representatives Barbara Natalizio and Ryan Bixenmann will be presenting a session at the 2020 National Postdoctoral Association Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. This session will preview our upcoming report on outcomes of pd|hub’s July 2019 Stakeholder Workshop, which brought together leaders representing nine stakeholder groups to discuss challenges and solutions for enhancing the dissemination of evidence-based practices in the professional development of PhD scientists. The session will summarize the needs, challenges, and actionable next steps reported by stakeholders, and engage NPA members in structured discussions about next-step actions and ways pd|hub as a multi-stakeholder initiative can facilitate change. This session is scheduled for March 27, 2020, 10am-11:15am. (meeting agenda).

The session is titled "Broadening impact of effective programs: Developing implementation guides for educational practices."
